Originally constructed in the 1950s, our barn, cottage, and ranch house have seen generations of love and labor. In 2000, we embarked on a journey to breathe new life into these aged structures, transforming them into a haven for our family and a menagerie of animals - ponies, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats roamed our grounds alongside our daughters.

As our sanctuary grew, so did our vision. The expansion of our barn was a natural evolution, allowing us to welcome even more cherished guests into our fold. From impromptu gatherings to milestone celebrations like proms and homecomings, our property became a cherished locale for creating memories.

Driven by our passion for hospitality and the beauty of our surroundings, we realized the potential to share our slice of paradise with the wider community. Thus, in 2020, we embarked on a mission to open our doors to the public, inviting all to experience the magic of The Barn at Lavender Hill.

Now, you may wonder about the significance of our name. Lavender Hill, a serene patch of earth just below our garden and vineyard, came into being in 2022.
